A crown is a restoration that covers, or ‘caps’ a tooth to restore it to its normal shape and size, while strengthening and improving cosmetic appearance. Crowns are needed when a tooth damaged, broken down or cracked. Crowns can also be used to support large fillings when there isn't enough tooth structure remaining, attach a bridge, protect weak teeth from fracturing, restore fractured teeth or to cover badly shaped and discolored teeth.

The fabrication of the all-ceramic Lava crowns we use, are crafted by W1 Dental’s onsite master technician, to ensure that the shape, surface characteristics and colour are indistinguishable from the surrounding teeth.
